I thought I was supposed to be The Queen? I think I got mixed up with Cinderella somehow? Vacuum, scrub, polish, clean oven, wash linens, cook, scrub toilets.....what is going on here??? Calling Prince Charming.....oh I forgot he is helping me vacuum!!!!
Gee, at least I'm getting better and did not destroy anything while being domestic! That's good, right ??
Another beautiful day in Georgia, this spring has been totally awesome weather! I dread the heat coming up soon.
Well to the showers so I can get to looking like the Queen again instead of the scrub woman!!

Will someone just give me an old vintage rotary dial telephone and a pad of paper and pencil?!!?
Does anyone in this friggin world have as much trouble with technology as me?? I really do not think I am stupid???
My iPhone works ok (today anyway) but the Bellsouth password in my iPad just up and disappeared so I could not get emails. Went to Apple store who said I have to re-enter the password. Ok, no big deal, right? So I look up the password on our list of passwords which is about 5,823,914 pages long because you cannot use one password on everything which would make it way too easy and we sure as hell don't want to do that, do we??? Enter the password, says it is not correct, go to website to try to reset password which has to come by postal service in 7-8 days (because the ponies have to go slow I guess)??? So go to phone store, they cannot change my password but give me phone number to call for tech support. I take a deep breath and call the number, which is answered by someone in India who speaka-no-English-too-well.... My blood pressure by now is off the charts so i told hubby that I just cannot deal with this, throw the damn iPad away! So he calls and gives the operator all the information we have except for the middle name of our fifth grandchild....transfers to the tech department who takes all of the same information again and then tells us it is the wrong tech department so transfers us again, during which the phone connection fails. So we start all over again, thank goodness hubby has more patience than I do because we lose the phone connection again and start over a third time with two more transfers, each asking for all of the same information... FINALLY we get to someone who can help us, but we have to log on to the computer, which is also not working for the third time this month, so we log on with the other cell phone and get the password changed. Ok, now everything is fine, right? Oh no, no, no, no...... I put the new password into the iPad and it tells me to log on to Yahoo first. So I try to log on to Yahoo but guess what???? Yep, you got it, THAT password will not work either. So I get a new password from Yahoo which takes three tries, a phone call, a text and an email.... Now my passwords for Apple and for Bellsouth and for Yahoo are all the same, which should be good, right? Try to enter new Bellsouth password into iPad again and it says "cannot connect, server failed"????? What the f---- does that mean, other than I am in same exact position I was FOUR HOURS ago!!!!
Screw it, I'm getting a big, strong friggin cocktail and put every piece of tech equipment in the garbage tomorrow....

This is the clasp I made in Deryn Mentock's class. We sawed it from a copper sheet, filed it, textured it, patina'd it, made a bezel and soldered it to the clasp, inserted the stone!
Here it is after the beads were added to make the completed bracelet:
And this is the charm bracelet I made in Deryn's other class, using 3 empty watch faces.
And this is the necklace made from vintage parts created in Diane Cook's class.
These are Deryn Mentock's sample pieces (the teacher). I could only dream to be as awesome as her!!!
So now I'm off to mop floors.....what a change of pace????? The Domestic-Challenged Queen cleaned toilets yesterday, can you imagine? I'm losing my queenly dignity???!!!!

I gave up on the iPad working with my blog, so I am using hubby's "real" computer. I wanted to share some of the photos from the art retreat in Round Top, Texas.
This is the Ranger Lounge, used to cook, eat, drink and take classes
The photo above is Danny, he lives on site and serves as groundskeeper, maintenance man, carpenter (building a barn now) and HE IS THE COOK......a very, very good cook!!!!
Below is a shot of the landscape outside the building
These are a couple of "staff" members, serving lots of love and attention:
This is looking out the front door of the main house (where I stayed). It is out in the middle of NO WHERE, believe me..............
This is Rachel Ashwell's shop, she owns this place....very expensive items in the store!
This is one of the cottages, which are the living quarters. Most of them are just a bedroom and bath for one or two persons, very roomy. The main house where I stayed had 3 bedrooms plus a kitchen, dining room and living room.
It was absolutely wonderful and I can hardly wait to go back. They will be doing these retreats twice a year now, this was the first one. Tomorrow I will share the awesome items I made in the three classes I took. I know you are burdened now with the anxiety of it all, but please don't lose sleep, I'll have them posted within hours, ok??? Bah Hah Hah....
